Description:
This position requires you to be in the office 5 days a week. (Located right on the Nassau/Suffolk Border in Long Island) Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant Main Requirements & Qualifications: Experience: 3 to 5+ years of public accounting experience leading multiple engagements.Demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing various tax projects and engagements.Certification: CPA preferred/required with a diversified tax background.Active CPA license or willingness to obtain CPA certification.Technical Skills: Working knowledge of tax software platforms, including CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks.Proficiency in utilizing tax software to prepare, review, and analyze tax returns and financial data.Team Collaboration: Strong team player with proven leadership and staff development skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, providing guidance and support to team members.Communication Skills: Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate complex tax concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and evaluate financial data accurately.Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.If you meet the above requirements and are seeking a challenging opportunity to further your career in tax accounting, we encourage you to apply for this position.
