Practice Area: Personal Injury Defense,Litigation - Workers' Compensation - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Waterbury is seeking an Associate Attorney with the following qualifications: Job Overview:The Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, providing client representation, and collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases. Duties:Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Review and analyze legal documents.Prepare and edit legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Assist with case management and organization.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases. Requirements:Must be licensed in Connecticut (or seeking admission to the Connecticut Bar).Some court experience preferred, ideally in injury or workers compensation cases.Fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing) preferred. Education:JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Connecticut Bar. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents.Ability to provide effective legal advice and representation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in Spanish preferred.
