POSITION SUMMARY: The Donor Services Coordinator is responsible for the management of gift processing, donor record management and stewardship implementation for the organization. We are a national organization currently serving more than 10,000 families across the US. We have an energetic, passionate staff who are committed to making a difference in the lives of families when they need us most! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manages and is responsible for the integrity and confidentiality of all donor records for the organization. This includes working closely with the finance department and chapter gift processors to ensure proper gift coding and documentation. Responsible for all pledge entry and billing related to annual giving campaigns and special events for the national office and multiple chapters. All activity must be coordinated in a timely fashion as outlined in donor stewardship plans. Having a strong understanding of donor segmentation, regularly create and pull reports to support fundraising activity for the organization. Remaining current on best practices in donor relations and stewardship, coordinate all donor acknowledgements and special recognitions as outlined in donor stewardship plans. Collaborate with the technology and data team to develop dashboards as needed to support campaigns. Participate in and support development events as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or career experience equivalent, with professional experience working in a non-profit fundraising department. Successful career experiences working in computer systems requiring strong attention to detail. Raiser’s Edge/NXT experience preferred. QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Strong attention to detail. Ability to establish processes to ensure department efficiencies. High level of comfort when dealing with individuals and their money, and an ability to maintain confidentiality when working with these individuals Works well in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are moving forward.
