Frequently interacting with our customers, you will serve as a company ambassador and will provide exceptional customer service. And since we're local, you'll be home every night.Additional responsibilities include the following:Drop off and pick up equipment for customersOperate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or "dove tails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-BAdhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsMaintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspectionsSuggest equipment and supplies to meet customers' other needsOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:Valid Class B CDL with acceptable driving recordHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving ExperienceAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsBasic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving proceduresDiligent attention to safetyThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
