Category Support SpecialistThis is a Salaried Consultant role with Aquent Studios. Must be in the Miami area and will work 3 days on-site at our client's location in Miami and 2 days remotely.As a Salaried Consultant with Aquent Studios, you receive an annual salary plus full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/Match and PTO/VacationSummary of Qualifications: Retail/Merchandise experience Good skills in data analysis/reporting, presentations and administrative support As a Category Support Specialist you will support the Merchandising Team and Director. You will be collaborating with internal and external partners, Category Managers/ ACM/ Leader, Promo and advertising teams, Inventory Planners, finance and analytics team, Store Operations, Planogram Designers, Directors, suppliers and others to achieve the assigned tasks.* Perform weekly and ad-hoc reporting as needed on category sales, inventory, trends and other parameters* Analyze data or insights to provide ACM/ CM with opportunities and recommendations.* Provide support and follow up with new item setups, cost and retail changes, miscellaneous item and vendor maintenance, new store set ups, etc.* Provide support with seasonal and planogram process as needed* Support with Ad process that may include presentations, meeting notes, follow ups, file consolidation, schedule management, etc.* Complete tasks and projects in timely manner, act with minimum supervision, balance multiple demands and priorities in fast paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining high performance and efficiency* Ability to research Department processes by meeting with all individuals in the department and gather information to write formal processes for others to use and follow* Independently and with direction from Category Managers, draft and deliver category and promotional communications such as emails, event calendar messages, updates, etc.* Provide support with market research, vendor relationships and communication as assigned.* You may be assigned smaller planograms or categories to manage them under CM/ACM guidance.* Support with other projects or tasks assigned by Director(s) or CM team. Education High school diploma/GED with a preference for a bachelor's degree or Equal work experience Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience working in an analytical role.2+ years of advanced Excel experienceStrong organizational and process documentation skillsAttention to detail and ability to prioritize workloadExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel & PowerPointStrong team player with the eagerness & aptitude to growStrong customer service orientationStrong analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a retail organization working in an analytical or inventory role.Familiarity with concepts and practices within a Retail Merchandising departmentAt least 3 years' experience providing coordination or administrative supportAt least a 2-year degree in Business or related field preferredBilingual (English- Spanish) is helpful but not requireExcellent technical skills: knowledge of spreadsheet and database softwareExperience or working knowledge of IRI or Nielsen market data a plusSQL, Tableau, Power BI experience a plusExcellent presentation skills Client Description Aquent Studios is a global creative studio that delivers scale, speed and efficiency to the world's most recognized brands.
