Use your audit expertise to assess the design and effectiveness of Kellanova Information Technology (IT) controls in critical risk areas such as cyber security, data privacy, disaster recovery and completeness and accuracy of financial reporting. The Kellanova IT Audit team offers independent control assurance and advisory services, aiming to enhance organizational value through the systematic evaluation of IT governance, risk management, and internal controls processes. This hybrid role offers low travel and can be located in greater Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI regions with the expectation to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: IT Audit Assurance : Assist in the execution of IT audits, integrated audits with Kellanova's regional audit teammates, and SOX compliance testing. You will use data analytics during the planning and testing phases of an audit to continuously improve audit results. Additionally, you will help develop automated monitoring scripts to identify possible instances of misappropriation of assets and control breakdowns.: Risk : Assess risk and assist in the development of IT audit scope and objectives. Create audit programs, test technology controls, and deliver quality audit results in a timely manner.: Data Analytics : Develop data analytics that analyze control effectiveness to provide factual, data:driven audit results. Work with process owners to implement corrective actions that address the root cause of audit observations.: Cross:Functional : Partner with regional audit teammates and business partners on integrated process audits. Assist with the development of automated scripts that allow for the continuous review of controls in between audit projects. We're Looking for Someone With : Bachelor of Science with a Management Information Systems/Computer Science or Bachelor of Business Administration with Accounting or Finance focus, with IT audit experience: General understanding of business processes and related controls; experience with Sarbanes:Oxley (SOX) requirements; accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), CobiT, COSO, and/or other control frameworks: Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Teams; experience with SAP : Data analysis and/or visualization experience using Diligent ACL, Tableau, Power BI, Python or similar tools; Aptitude for new technologies such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver more valuable insights: An ability to think critically and prioritize efforts using a risk:based approach: Good interpersonal and communication skills: MBA and/or CPA, CIA, CISSP, CISA, CFE or similar designation preferred What's Next After you apply, your application will be reviewed by a real recruiter, so it may take us a few weeks to get back with you by email or phone.
