Job Details Job Location TBD DAYTON - Dayton, OH Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage As Required Job Shift Any Quality Control Inspector - Dayton, OH *This position is Awaiting Contract Award* Job Description: The Quality Control Inspector performs the inspection of aircraft maintenance to ensure all maintenance functions have been accomplished in accordance with all U.S. Air Force/DoD guidance, FAA regulations, OEM instructions as well as all company policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensures that inspections performed on airframe, engines and components are in accordance with relevant guidance and procedures, maintenance manuals and approved technical data. Monitors workmanship and materials to verify all regulations and standards are complied with. Performs buy-back inspection on non-routine items and provides inspection signoffs as required. Ensures that aircraft modifications or component changes are in compliance with maintenance manual procedures or approved technical data procedures. Ensures all required inspection items (RII) are completed and documented properly. Ensures that receiving inspections of incoming parts, components, equipment supplies and materials is completed in accordance with governing documents and guidance. Ensure assistance in the classification of repairs and alterations in relation to Major or Minor Repairs. Ensure appropriate forms are completed to document any major repair or alteration. Monitors/audits aircraft inspection reports, log pages and records for accuracy and completeness of entries. Conducts daily audits of aircraft work packages including checks/inspections forms, log pages, routines and non-routines, modification orders, etc. to ensure completion, correctness, use of appropriate references to approved data in all entries and forms. Monitors the safety and housekeeping of the work areas. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 5 or more years in quality control inspection experience. Depot Level maintenance experience desired. Experience on wide body aircraft, including but not limited to, Boeing 767, 777, and 747. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance with program access. Proficient in use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms and other aircraft related documents. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite to prepare various reports, charts, and other related documents. Certifications: A&P certification. As required. This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
