RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Columbus, OH area! Full-time, Direct Hire! If you enjoy traveling, work with a purpose, and want to work with a company that values it's employees this is the career for you! $70k salary plus annual bonus- Typical 40-hour work week- Remote role with 80% travel domestic & international! Duties: * Perform analysis and root cause studies of component failures and resolve customer issues. * Perform on-site commissioning of application systems. * Train customers in operating and maintenance practices. * Assist Sales, Engineering & Customers with mill testing of new systems. * Ability to modify documentation pertaining to each customer unit including schematics, user manuals, safety practices, etc, to reflect actual site/installation conditions. * Ability to specify, review, and implement specialized maintenance procedures for field installations. * Monitor customer units to foresee problems and develop solutions before they affect the customer. * Interact with customer representatives to solve problems that need to be handled remotely. As necessary, travel to the customer site to maintain high reliability. * Produce, distribute, and maintain files containing service reports after each on-site visit. * Schedule startup/commissioning activities to maintain product delivery commitments.Requirements: * Strong electromechanical background * 3 years in an engineering service role * Customer-facing experience * Knowledge of electrical power circuits * Ability to read schematics. * Basic knowledge of pumps and electrical installations * Working knowledge of feed mill operations * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds * Legally authorized to work in the USA * Passport * Less than 1 driving infraction in the past 3 yearsBenefits * Medical, Dental, and Vision. * 15 days PTO plus 10 paid holidays plus 3 floating holidays * 401k
