The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional matters, focusing on public company representation. Experience in equity financing, IPOs, MA, and corporate governance is essential. While experience working with life sciences companies is preferred, candidates with a strong interest in life sciences work will also be considered.Duties:Work closely with venture-backed private and public companies on various transactions including equity financing, IPOs, MA, and corporate governance.Collaborate with legal teams to manage substantial components of transactions independently.Provide legal counsel on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.Conduct legal research and analysis as required.Draft and review legal documents and agreements.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law.Experience in public company representation and registered equity offerings (IPOs and follow-on).Strong interest in or experience working with life sciences companies.Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable law school.Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
