The ability to provide quality customer servicePhysical RequirementsMay be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Minimum Qualifications Non-Credit, Non-Teaching, Adjunct faculty who are assigned to support non-credit workforce courses must have a minimum of an Associate degree with direct work experience in the specific content area or have specific certification/licensure related to the assigned course(s) with work experience in the specific content area.Non-Credit, Non-Teaching, Adjunct faculty who are assigned to support a non-credit community based/non-workforce course(s) must have a minimum of an Associate degree or direct work experience in the specific content area with a certification (if applicable) for the content area. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.***Essential Duties and Responsibilities May develop new program curriculum or enhance current curriculum. Provide assistance with the implementation of instructional programs and instructional content for the purpose of assisting teaching faculty in improving the students' academic success in a specific content area. Provide assistance in the development of competency-based curriculum and other instructional materials. May develop online or in-person courses and programs Researches best practices in specific content area Ensures alignment of program content with industry standards and credit pathways Provide support to teaching faculty in specific content area. (i.e. developing syllabi, recommending course materials and books, or work to acquire credentialing with accreditation and licensure bodies) Develops and maintains professional working relationships, with students, faculty, and staff. Participates in the development of the program objectives and assist with budget planning for the respective areas Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
