Job Description: As an Immigration Paralegal at our firm, you will work closely with our attorneys to prepare and manage cases involving family-based petitions, employment-based visas, asylum applications, and other immigration procedures. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of immigration law and procedures. Responsibilities: • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues• Prepare legal documents and support materials for visa and citizenship applications.• Assist attorneys in case preparation, filing, and correspondence.• Conduct research on case law, regulations, and immigration procedures.• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents, keeping them informed of case progress.• Maintain and organize case files and manage case tracking and status updates.• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills• Talented communicator and writer• Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, or a related field.• Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program preferred.• At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in immigration law.• Proficient in using legal database software and Microsoft Office.• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
