Project Overview:Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M and T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world. Job Summary:Assigned to a field construction organization in a general or single discipline supervisory position.Responsible for supervising and directing activities of construction craft within an assigned area of responsibility.Receives routine supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility. Major Responsibilities::Directs craft activities, through craft supervision, within the area of responsibility.Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements.:Analyzes workforce, material, and equipment requirements, and coordinates the area discipline work plan requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.:Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.:Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.:Assists superintendents in the preparation of construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.:Supervises and directs subordinate non:manual personnel, as assigned.:Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelors degree (or internationalequivalent) and 8:10 years of relevant experience or 12:14years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills:: Prior experience managing Union craft: Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities: Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, anddatabase applications in accordance with current Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards.: Demonstrated leadership in a team:based environment.
