We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M and T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world. PositionSummary The Lead InstrumentationSuperintendent will be a supervisory position.Responsiblefor theorganization and direction of instrumentation construction and relatedactivities, which may be in a single area or across multipleareas.Coordinateswith other discipline superintendents withinassigned area of operation and, if required, with the client's residentrepresentatives on jobsite activities.General responsibilities are toensure assigned instrumentation operations are compliant with all ES and Hpolicies and procedures, design/specifications, completed on schedule, withinbudget and to quality standards. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule ifrequired, including,but not limited to nightshift, split shift, or dayshift to support the project execution plans and schedules. Unless otherwiseindicated, applicants for construction positions must have heavy industrialdirect hire construction experience commensurate with the type of work to beundertaken and the requirements identified. Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limitedto: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heatand high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, workingon elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small orconfined spaces.Some lifting may be required.Must have the abilityto walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).Must be able to useappropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required foreach assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.). Responsibilities :Provide ES and H leadership to personnel assigned to the instrumentation department. This includes preparation and implementation of safety procedures and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings.:Responsiblefor overall supervision of instrumentation personnel in assigned area of responsibility.:Ensures performance evaluations are conducted on assigned direct hire craft.:Performing end of year per
