Job Description WCYB/WEMT (Bristol, VA) has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News/Production Assistant!Responsibilities include: * Assist with news story research and writing for our broadcast and digital platforms * Editing video and sending content to news playout server * Create news graphics for on-air and online content * Help answer incoming calls to the newsroom * Assist with helping time segments for the newscast in a live broadcast environment * Other duties as assigned Experience: * Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or a related field is preferred * Training will be provided General Hours: Weekday Afternoons and Evenings * Must be able to work on weekends occasionally * Other hours as needed Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!About Us Make your mark in Media with Sinclair, Inc., a diversified media company dedicated to connecting people with content everywhere!
