JOB DESCRIPTION Evins Communications is seeking a current college senior or recent graduate to join our hands-on public relations training program, at our midtown NYC office . Our program combines practical experience with real-world responsibilities to develop and equip our interns with a solid PR skill set . Trainees will work on writing, media relations, event planning and social media, while also learning the value of research and administrative skills needed for any successful career in PR. The intern will split their time between Evins’ dedicated spirits and wine divisions on a hybrid schedule, Tuesday through Th ursday , with at least two in - office days each week. We are looking for applicants with the perfect blend of organizational prowess, communication skills and a curious and creative mind along with a strong interest in food and beverage. A degree or major in a related field, previous PR agency internship experience is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring press coverage and creating clippings Creating and updating monthly/yearly clipping reports and activity reports Maintaining and updating databases Aid with development and distribution of media materials and media campaigns Assisting with event production (e.g., in-person tastings as well as webinars) Researching and gathering information for PR campaigns Creating and measuring social media and/or media campaigns Wine warehouse management and sample distribution Supporting the team with multiple projects as needed Reporting to 3-4 agency members REQUIREMENTS Seniors or recent college grads with a Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related degree Must have strong writing skills, and enjoy creative brainstorming Professional verbal and written communication skills Personable and team-oriented with a knack for proactive problem-solving Graphic design skills are a plus (Canva knowledge) ABOUT EVINS Evins Communications is a leading brand marketing communications and public relations firm with specialty expertise designed to help clients achieve their business goals.
